anybody sell life insurance?
i was considering getting my life insurance license in PA. just an added bonus to my 9-5 gig. im always asked if we sell insurance, and, well, we dont! so im considering the angle of an individual producer license. ive been looking and spoke to some companies who directed me to a couple online courses...im considering the idea...i have some questions tho...
how hard is the exam? i just plan on getting the life insurance license...not the health or property and casualty....strictly life! what are reasonable expectations on compensation? i know the positions are all commissions but im curious as to how supplemental the income may or may not be.... |

I just passed my exam and received my 2-15 license (life, health, variable annuity) and am about to be appointed to Amerilife. Idk anything about selling just yet though lol my good friend made $9K during selling season last year while maintaining his full-time college course load.

I am working part time as an insurance agent and I am currently studying to get my insurance license. I am in Denver and lots of people are looking for life, health and car insurance. I am planning on taking the health insurance license first. Heard that the health insurance is pretty tough.
Good luck to you 08rookie and congratulations to TK-421 for passing. Health insurance license first and then life insurance license |
