Insurance company is using some collision estimating service for my car.
can i use nada to go against their offer? |

Not really. Depending on your state most require them to find acutal comparable vehicles for them to base their offer on which is why most use an outside 3rd party to do it. What you can do is go out and find comparable vehciles and submit that to the ins company if you disagree with their offer. Most limit their search to around 100 miles or so, PM me if you want. Im an ex-ins adjuster and my wife is currently still one...

^ what he said. If it's a car from this MY (or 1 below) sometimes they'll call and ask what a place would ask for the car if they were selling it...but generally it's just comparable.
And for your reference, NADA pricing guide is complete bullshit, worse than kbb |

Doesn't the insurance simply pay what the bodyshop quotes. Yeah they have some appraiser guy give you an estimate but usually the body shop will find more crap and need more money.
