I thought the idea of a facelift was to make a car better looking. The only improvement I see are the headlights. The rest looks like it went backwards in time.

Oh and another thing, I think the R8 was the fastest car to go from "futuristic looking" to boring and dated looking.

The S-Tronic will finally give the R8 V10 the boost it needed. R Tronic was such an outdated single clutch system, the DCT will be a big improvement. Not digging the rear exhaust. Looks like they tried to hard to change things up and make things different.

I've never cared for the r8, when I first saw it I said time would not be kind to it.... unfortunate, because it is a very very good car

Overall it pretty much mirrors the facelifts from the rest of the model range. I don't hate the revisions, but I'm not crazy about them either. I dunno about the lights...they insist upon themselves.

And I'm sorry but those tailpipes look ridiculous. Are they designed to shoot out dachshunds? Looks like someone took the concept drawings a bit too literally.

Audi facelifts have gone downhill since the B7 IMO. In going 'edgier' they've lost the elegance they used to have. Shame.

The R8 has always been a little funky, though. They always look better in person than in photos.

Not really much of an improvement to be honest. So they changed the headlights and tailights, not a lot really!
