Extra keys and shells?
Hey guys, I was just wondering if there is a market for buying the diamond keys and the e90 push to start keys? I literally have a drawer full because my family sells cars for a living and my mom always forgets to hand over the extra keys with the bmw. So we have about a drawer full and i want to know if people buy the keys and for how much.

How about giving them to the persons who paid for them.

Yeah, that's a disservice to the customer NOT to give them that spare set. You know how much those things cost. YWZA!

We do if we remember we have spares. Its not often we buy a car with spares. But this is just an accumulation of keyes over years of dealing cars. So i just want to know if theres a demand for them where i can just sell them.

"If you can remember"??????
Whoa, with that attitude, why think about your customer and make sure all the details are taken care of when you can make an extra buck off someone else? Sounds like you have NO REASON TO REMEMBER the extra keys even if you have them. Doesn't surprise me...typical scumbag car dealer.

Your next step is to sell them, along with the addresses of those cars they belong to, to a car theft ring. I'm sure you'll look into this to make some extra cash.

100 key rings for less than $3
Easy step to making sure customers get all their keys. Put all the keys for each car on one key ring and keep them togther. Problem solved. Also WTF are you talking about?

Contact BMW, have the owners tracked and the keys returned. At your expense. |

I didn't get a second key for the preowned e91 I bought Sunday--and it's an immediate research project I don't appreciate. A lot of searching and researching -- still unsure if I have any course other than spending $500 at the dealer for one.
Probably my most frustrating issue right now, along with not getting the cool cargo cover/net I thought these came with. |
