When going to make a purchase online or at a brick & mortar store, do you first search for coupons online? If so, what website(s) do you go to?

Yup. I usually only find some for ordering pizza online, but occasionally I find a 10% coupon code.
I check amazon before I buy most things in a store (prime member) |

If it's a relatively large purchase then, yes.
Small stuff on Amazon for example, no. However I always do the research to find the generally best price that I can. The one exception is when I make large purchases for photography equipment (which, lately, is never, but that's beside the point). I have a trusted place I use and if their prices are higher than another I still go with them due to service, no hassle, knowing my product isn't gray market with no warranty, etc. ( I voted "Yes" because I'm never happy to pay full price, for anything, except an i8! ) |

I dont like to pay full price, but I also don't look for coupons or deal codes. I'll search around for a better sale price if anything.

It largely depends on the item. If it's something I have decided I want, there are many times where I will research where I can get that item locally as cheap as possible as well as being in stock. There are also times where I will look all over the internet to find things that I know I would like, but don't want to pay more than I have to.
As @litos said, I will happily pay a little more if that means that I can get something that I have decided I want as quickly as possible vs waiting for it to get to my door. |

I hardly buy anything at brick and mortar store (groceries maybe?). If it's not on Amazon and if it's not prime I don't want it.
That being said I do occasionally do the impulse buy on stuff I see on woot or other deal sites very rarely. However I would say like 85% of the stuff I buy is Amazon prime, maybe 10% is bigger ticket items that I might shop around for and the other 5% is impulse woot type crap. I also run an online store and I can tell you, yall some cheap bastards! I could be offering the product for free and I would get emails asking if I can pay them to buy it. |

When I purchase online and get to the checkout page and see they have a coupon box, I will search for a coupon code, or call the vendor to see if one is available. It's always worth searching to save a few bucks.
