Can my laptop be causing eye problems....

Sometimes, like right now when i went to del taco real quick, my eyes kinda feel like when you first wake up and your eyes are a little watery and your vision is a tad bit blurry, like a very tiny tiny minute bit. Well that how i felt my vision was like, when i was in the drive through i just didnt feel like my eyes were as sharp as they usually are or should be. I got this laptop a little while ago and i always lay in bed and have it on my lap.....do you think that maybe staring at this thing too long like this could be why or bad

Do you get this a lot, or just today? If it's just today maybe you're just tired. Or you're too close too it while you're using it in your bed... the whole seat position speech: good posture? Too close? Probably not at the proper eye level since it's not on a level surface and you're staring down?

Its like directly in front of me about 2 - 3 feet away. It happens like once every week or two for a little bit. I think the best bet is to go have my eyes checked out just to be sure whats up but thats alot for your concern man i appreciate that

you should get an eye exam. a lot of computer or near work can get the eyes to focus too much and cause eyestrain. studies have also shown that a person's blink rate is decreased while staring at a computer screen. eyes can dry out and cause slightly blurrier vision.

You can try adjusting the brightness of your laptop. You don't always need to be on the brightest setting.

It can hurt sometimes at night or when your close up.
