What's your office like?
I can't remember if I've seen a similar thread or not, tried searching and found nothing.
JFor those who work I've been in many offices -- from the plan to the ultimate exotic. Just curious -- What's your office like? Do you have a view? Are you in a cold scary basement? Computer setup? Pics! A friend of mine who went on to start a large datacenter had half of a VW beatle coming out of his wall in his office. A lot of strange, crazy things. I'm working on getting pics, it was neat. |

I work for myspace but remotely in the IGN entertainment building. So imagine a bunch of tv's with video game consoles of every kind, everywhere. Flat screens on our desk with the Wii, xbox 360 or ps3 hooked up. We also have a 2 LAN rooms plus an arcade. LOL! Most departments have a mini fridge and ours is stocked with beer and alcohol.
Its a fun young office, and we all like to party and drink. Oh and my view is of candlestick (or whatever it's called now) park where the 49ers play. |

I'm pretty fortunate... I work in an office with a view out to my car. Talk about personalized parking security! Oh... and I can't stop looking at my car either.

I have a cubicle with some papers pinned to the walls. State jobs suck.

I get to look at a wall. Just a long desk with a bunch of computers and chairs.
We all cut up and laugh/talk a lot. Decent work atmosphere if I wasn't so unhappy. Just glad I don't have a cubicle. |

My house. Or wherever I'm driving to. Sometimes the ghetto sometimes mansions, depends on whos getting divorced/foreclosed/summoned etc...
The only thing I don't like is I don't have as much interaction with new people like I did in the office setting. But I'd rather work for myself then meet new people and have to answer to some dumb ass manager. Which I make more than now haha, that pissed him off. The day I came in to pick up my stuff I brought in my new E90, the look on his face was priceless.
