My daughters 1995 325i is over heating and the service shop told me this morning about a campaign for the head bolts should be check and replace if need. Does anyone know about this campaign and where I could get more info?

If it's overheated, If you tighten those bolts down they will strip out of the block and you'll be replacing the engine. It's probably overheating for another reason, find THAT reason.
