eBay refund help!
Hey guys,
I purchased an LCD replacement for my laptop and long story short, it does not work and I returned it with tracking to the seller. On the tracking website, it says it was delivered on 9/11 ("Addressee Signed"), however the seller says they did not receive the package. I already filed a dispute with eBay but does anyone have an insight or advice for this matter?

if you made a dispute through ebay/paypal and provided the proof that it was delivered then the ruling should be favored for you and you should get you rmoney back. theres nothing more you should/can do...did ebay or paypal make a ruling yet? if for whatever reason that fails you can also dispute the charge with yuor credit card company, youll likely get your money back through either avenues but it just might take a week or 2

9/11 was Sunday. Confirm it was delivered again. Also check to see who signed for it, hopefully the name will be legible.

Case should be opened in paypal and decision reached within 7 days.
Provide all documentation and descriptive message explaining the whole situation. I personally have taken screenshots of the transactions, eBay purchase screen, and shipping screen showing it was delivered. Once the case is open and 'under review', you can usually call them up, explain the whole situation (with everything mentioned above already uploaded) and the representative will likely close it in your favor right then and there. The 2 times I've needed this to happen, it has. Funds deposited back into your account immediately. Good luck |

I'm surprised at how much everyone is overthinking this.
File with paypal/ebay. Let them do their thing. If they get nowhere, immediately file with your credit card. you'll get your money back, the rest is irrelevant, and honestly not worth worrying about |

ive won all my disputes...ive never had to do any screen shots or the like. ive only, in the body of my dispute letter, provided the usps tracking # to show receipt/non-receipt of item...paypal did the rest, but yeah provide clear concise statements in your despute and you should be good

Thanks everyone for the advice. I opened the dispute through eBay so it will take until next Friday before I can escalate this. Next time this happens, I think I'll go the paypal route since you guys seem to suggest that route instead. I do have the receipt with the tracking printing on it along with the exact return address. I will update once the case has been decided!

Wow, so I spoke with the agent that helped me delivered my package and he called the main office and they said that its in customs. This makes no sense since it says delivered (signed) on their tracking website. SO CONFUSED!

yup! i openned on a dispute on paypal and it simultaneously openned on ebay as well...i like how they linked it seamlessly, makes things less complicated..if ebay can just lower the fees or stop charging on the front end AND the back end, id use it more often
