Blah, blah...it is all relative thing... If having the BMW is the most important thing in your life, than, yes, the USA is your choice. If other things (including family, future, healthcare...) are most important, then, think more about it... I just returned from a 3-week trip to Europe, where they all make pretty much <1/2 of what I do, they drive nice cars (Diesels a lot) and live 15x better than most of us, Americans. By "living better" I do not mean have larger homes and better cars, but overall -- healthcare, time with the family, vacation time, fun... I used to hate Europe, and that is (though a small part of) the reason why I moved to the USA. After this visit, and real discussions with people, I am seriously considering both sides... |

If you want to talk over-priced, I'd say the curent title-holder is the Porsche Cayman S - it's slow sales are a direct result of Porsche's pricing of it. |

Otherwise...it is very obvious...especially if comparing the BMW owners here and over there... On the other comment -- I agree -- it is the car forum |

I moved to US 10 years ago from the place that a BMW 335I cost US$150 000 now...but it was five times more ten years back. I think I fall into the group "BMW is the most important thing in your life, than, yes, the USA is your choice" I live in LA, a messy city....but I love LA and I'm a family man too. The grass is alway greener on the other side.... that might be the reason you moved to the US in the first place. Most of us in the forum enjoy our BMW and we don't buy a BMW because it is cheap. |

I can't imagine someone traveling overseas and NOT knowing the exchange rate. Even if you're the most oblivious person in the world, you see the damn signs at the exchange huts. |
