Garage List
I think Jeremy Clarkson reviewed a Gransport Coupe of that generation and didn't like it much. That TopGear should be on Youtube somewhere.

I owned a 2004 coupe. Absolutely loved it. The engine is fantastic and the interior is better than any Ferrari. In the one year I owned it I had no issues with it but if you buy a cambiocorsa the clutch replacement is about $4k every 15-25k miles.

Don't you put a ton of miles on your car? Maserati maintenance will be steep.

I have a friend with a 2002 Maserati and he has spent a fortune to maintain it. If it breaks, you better have another car because, at least in Houston, the Maserati service department is busy preparing for weekend races and not taking care of their beleaguered customers.

I have driven one and have a friend with one who also has an M3. He really doesnt drive it too much anymore but the market is so soft and they are so cheap its not worth selling. The maintainence is expensive but isnt awfull if you dont drive more than a few thousand miles per year.
