Power Cable

I need a new power cable for my xbox steering wheel so that the force feedback feature works and I'm a little clueless when it comes to this stuff.

I need this cable: http://azsurplus.com/index.php?main_...roducts_id=818
and it says 24V 1A with a tip of 5.5mmX2.1mmX10mm

I'm looking to get this cable to save money:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...A2KV19AYUKS3X0
and it says 24V 1A, but the size of the tip is 5.5X2.1 but it doesn't list a length

So my question, does the length of the input matter +/- 1mm?

Base on what you listed (I didnt click on the links) the length of the cable shouldnt matter if all the other specs on spot on. Its just like saying... I have a longer garden hose to spray idiots off my lawn than the other one I have to wash my car. I had been using different cable lengths with same specs on various things and they work so my answer would be yes. But if I were you I would just go with the one that you know will work... its just around 14 dollars difference... thats like a meal..

I don't think he meant the length of the cable. He meant the length of the connector and from looking at the pictures on the link the item comes with multiple tips . One of them should fit.

Correct, I meant the length of the tip.
