The Simpsons Movie

Just got back from watching the movie. Very funny movie indeed. It captured the audience's attention and had us laughing from the beginning to the end. Some scenes were just hilarious- they almost had me rolling.

If you like the simpsons you owe it to yourself to go see the movie.

i wish the story line would have been better but yeah it was pretty funny. i liked it better then transformers even though their two different movies....

who knows maybe im a weird guy. the action parts in transformers was badass for sure though...i just didnt like the acting (not saying the acting in a cartoon was better lol). i guess comedy movies keep me entertained

I saw it on thursday (in germany it started one day earlier

) and it was great! 100% simpsons

I've been thinking about boycotting the movie because I hate Fox 'News'.

I'm torn, because I've been a die-hard Simpsons fan for ~20 years. I've only recently realized how twisted their 'news' station is. They editorialize every single piece. It's amazingly blatant propaganda. They're right sometimes, but I don't want that from a news source.

Fox 'News' is AMAZINGLY biased, to the point of ridicule.

Last week it was on at the gym. The newsreader was describing a recent verdict on the Valerie Plane (sp?) case, the piece about the CIA agent who was outed because of his wife's critique of the administration. The newsreader said something like 'hopefully we've heard the last from that loudmouth'.

From the news?! This is some peoples' only news source.

im sorry, i want my money back. a waste of 12 bucks. transformers raped this. ive been a die hard fan, but the movie was a massive flop. so dissapointed, i walked out of there at the end just upset. sure it had its funny moments, but it was not simp-tastic.

in my opinion, it just did not live up to what i expected. i wouldnt have laughed more even if i were stoned. tisk tisk, fucking tisk tisk.

what i DO want to see is the Bourne Ultimatum. mmm that gets my panties wet

....

wait. i dont have any panties. and i cant really get wet. because im a boy. erm, at least the last time i checked.

I haven't seen the Simpsons movie yet, but I don't know if i'll catch it in the theatre. I've always been a fan of the simpsons, but i've grown out of it a little. Southpark kills it in the cartoon world. I'll always love em though.
And you are smoking crack if you think it's better than transformers. I haven't even seen it yet, but i know it's not better than transformers.

Simpsons was worth it IMO, watched it this past weekend and enjoyed it. I wish they focused on Bart more though, rather than the story angle they played with, but I guess the movie is call The Simspons and not The Bart Simpson
