D600 Nikon

http://nikonrumors.com/2012/06/14/fi...0-images.aspx/

Hi all,

Just wanted to get ur take on the rumours of the upcoming D600 Nikon FX Body.

Do you guys think it'll be up to par with that of the outgoing model D700? Guesses on cost?

I've been using my D90 for almost 4 years now and have been purchasing full frame lens knowing that I'll be getting a full frame body down the road. If the price and performance is good enough, I might actually think of doing a replacement body with this body kit.

It sounds great from the specs. I would say this is a true evolutionary upgrade of the D700. The D800 is a camera in its own league right now, until Canon comes out with a high MP, FF camera.

I'm sure it'll be cheaper than the D800 too, so I definitely think Nikon hits a home run with this one, assuming its high-ISO capabilities are good.

Rumor on cost is $1500. High ISO noise performance is a big question mark.

man... that's cheap for what it gives you. I was thinking it would be ~$2k, like the Canon 5D2.

I'm also really interested on the high iso noise levels. I'm hoping it'll be on par or better than the D700. We'll just have to wait and see.

humm will be interesting if Nikon would ever go that cheap for a FF... I guess not that many d300 users now?

looking at the pictures though... this camera body seems extremely tiny... I wonder what features this camera is missing to make sure this little thing doesn't cut into the d800 sales.
