Just got an iphone 4...I have tmobile service

I got a great deal on an iphone4, so I got it, but have no idea how to unlock it. I believe it's 5.1.1. Is it as simple as getting the imei #, having someone unlock it for like 10 bucks on ebay and getting a micro sim from tmobile?

If the phone is out of contract, they will unlock it for you.

you can do it for free, just get a jailbreak and unlock hack for it, why pay for what you can do in 20 minutes.

not every baseband is unlockable, the best solution of the gevey sim card

unless the phone is out of contract, in that case call at&t and they'll do it

I had 3 of my 4 and 1 4s unlocked by ATT, I'm about to switch one to the tmobile service.

bimmerfrk, tmobile are reframing their 3g to the same frequency as ATT, by end of the year, they claim they'll have it all done. My coworkers are on tmobile 3g on the iphone, ill have one of mine switch over to test this weekend, as the area of 3g are small till end of the year.
