Well, one is 700 pounds heavier than the other. Are both automatics, manuals, mixed? It would be fairly hard to lose this sort of thing in the 1er, not that it isn't possible.

Well, in theory the 135 would win because it is lighter with both cars using the same engine and are stock as you say. Obviously, other variables come into play such as the transmission of each car, the potential of the 535 having xDrive, and of course, driver skill. Assuming a level playing field with all of these things, I'm not sure why your friend would even propose this race.

If your buddy is wanting to race for a grand, either:
a) His car is not stock b) He is retarded If B is the correct answer take his money.. And if he beats you, either you are a horrible driver or he is not stock. Last edited by RambleJ; 01-08-2013 at 03:06 PM.. |

Also, if your car is a 2010, you don't have an N55.

Lol, even if you're a bad driver, you should still beat him.
As previous poster pointed out, he may be lying about his car not being stock. In theory for every 100lbs, there's about 1/10th of a second lost. Generally 135s do the 1/4 in 13.3 So that would mean 14 for a 535. I then checked online at draglines.com and looked at stock cars, and those were roughly the numbers I found. I wouldn't worry about beating him. Unless he's known for being sneaky. |
