Are you guys giants or is the car pretty small?
The normal Mclaren F1 was not to pretty either

The LM's & GTR's were badass though

It's not. It actually says Pirelli.

interesting to note the Rims aren't flush with the body (like we have a tendency to do with our cars a la spacers), but subtly tucked in...must help with lowering wind resistance at high speeds.

The tread says McLaren, you're looking at the sidewall.

Function vs. trendy design; function won out.

You're right. Those letters are pretty large though. It's a meaningful reduction of contact patch. Unless they are actually not molded but actually just using a diffferent color compound to achieve the effect.

I'm sure these tires are just meant for show

I'm sure that's just the show car tire, the production car will almost certainly come on some form of Michelins, possibly with a Big Mac specific compound, but regular PSS or Pilot Cup tread.

You said you got to see the interior. Was it center seating like the F1? Also I take it you don't have any pictures of the interior do you?

I wasn't allowed to take pictures of the interior, but it is the same seating as the mp4-12c, There is a lot of matte carbon fiber and alcantera and my favorite part is the section of roof both of the drivers side and passengers side is see-through from the inside out. I liked being able to see the ceiling or what would normally the sky.

The F1 LM is one of my all time favorite car designs but I also love the "plain McLaren F1" as well.
