A manual transmission is just about as good as a garage and alarm these days. My kids will also drive automatic cars so they can't steal mine.

EDIT: I wonder how he explained not having the car to his accomplice. I really doubt that "I can't drive" was in there.

Right, because stealing a 911 Turbo is not going to make you look suspicious at all. People who can afford 911 Turbos will more than likely have LoJack or immobilizer installed.

It really is sad how it's like a dying art. I went out to eat a few weeks ago and pulled up for valet. The guy that came to get my car got in and then realized it was manual and had to go get another guy that could drive the car. Not sure how he even got the job.

Hahah, this is fantastic. Pays off to learn to drive a proper transmission, especially if you plan on stealing a non PDK turbo.
