"The Host" in real life
I was looking up chrome cars online after watching "The Host", because I was impressed by their chrome wrapped Evoras, and I was not disappointed.

Canadians, bunch of self promoters.
![]() Does nothing for me, just seems like a gimmick. There are a lot of cars wrapped locally with a chrome base and ads over it. Now make it gold and bedazzle it and I'm on board! |

There are a couple of gold cars floating around out there too, and I'm sure we've seen the diamond-covered SL. Here's an M5 (gold wrap):
![]() ![]() This 911 is covered completely in 18 karat gold. There are a few nicer cars which have received this treatment (that one Veyron, an R8, a couple of AMG Mercedes and Ferraris) but this one stands out due to engraving and tooling on the plate: ![]() |
