New Macbook air, upgradable later?

I am just about to buy it online,
it gives me 2 choice of either 8G or 4G,
is it upgradable later? or is it set permanently?

ram? If you are talking about ram the old Macbook air were never upgradable. I highly doubt the new one would be.

Same with the MBP Retina

looks like its not upgradable, i just ordered 11" 8G Ram

I have the i5 Air. I am going to upgrade to the Retina display. I wouldn't recommend the air if you heavy use it

if auto-upgrade is built into the new iphone, that's bad news for jailbreaking
