Spotted a Z8 today! (Pics)

Was out to dinner tonight in Santa Monica and saw this top-down beauty! Only took a couple of shots, didn't want to call attention to myself...

Oh, and this monster was right by it. Nice matte grey E63

Reminds me of a Porsche Spyder 550. You know this has to be hella fun to drive.

not really. I test drove a Z8 years ago just for fun when they had one heavily discounted at a BMW dealer at the time when they weren't selling at all....this car is all about the funky design....in terms of driving----it feels like a bloated mess I'm sad to say! not very interesting! power yes....agility and excitement? no!

The type of car that needs to be seen in person. Beautiful car. I had the chance to drive one while I was in the process of picking up our E46.It's looks have easily held up through the years. One of my favorites

The piece of crap owner parked and left his car with the top down?

Some people don't deserve such cars. Sure, they may be able to afford them, but it doesn't mean they deserve them.

Actually the first time I've seen a Z8; and since its an enthusiast's car and this is a BMW forum, I thought I would share.

Sure, I've seen (and been in) much crazier and exciting cars, but definitely thought it was worth the share ... And it seems from the other posters above, my share was appreciated.

I like the Z8 especially in black and silver, but red doesn't look too shabby. The (stock) chrome wheels though look classy without being over the top, which is often not the case with chrome wheels IMHO.
