that's exactly what my wife said.

so, between me wanting the damn TV now and her saying to wait, we're stuck in a mini conflict lol.

i will ONLY buy it after doing my needed research to see what other 75" is out there for the $2999...

p.s.
Best Buy gives 15 days from the date of purchase for any refunds if the TV goes back on sale.

i could roll the dice @ Dec 10th in hopes that the TV goes on sale again, but fuck, i just want the damn tv already HAHA !!!!

wife is a "smart" consumer though

JUST TAKE MY MONEY !!!!!

yeah

i checked Sears Tuesday night after getting back from BB and its back up to $2999 because Samsung told them to HAHA !!!!

before we left, the guy at BB told us to go price matching at all the big department stores (the ones that are on BB price matching list) to see if maaaaaybe one of those stores slipped up and still had the TV for $2499.

i checked them all, but i couldn't find one

i did, however, see other websites with that TV for $2499, but BB won't price match those cheesy third rate websites.

here's their price match competitors: Amazon.com, Apple.com, Bhphotovideo.com, Crutchfield.com, Dell.com, Frys.com, hhgregg.com, HP.com, HomeDepot.com, Lowes.com, Newegg.com, OfficeDepot.com, OfficeMax.com, Rakuten.com Shopping, Sears.com, Staples.com, Target.com, TigerDirect.com and Walmart.com

I got a 60" Samsung in July. SmartTV is completely useless, except for a single app - Plex. This is all I ever use. The rest is garbage. I don't use voice or gestures and before I bought the receiver, the cable box was hooked up directly to the TV. The problem is that the built in channel guide is awkward. Every time you turn on the TV its on channel 1 and the only channels I watch are in 700's, so you have to scroll every damn time you turn on the TV.

Don't care for any of the Smart TV functions but I want to be able to stream media from my network. Is there another option?

From your local network I would recommend a Roku with Plex.

Congrats, i wish I had room for a 75" in my house. I was at a japanese restaurant with my wife yesterday and lost $200 bucks to her. There were 2 Tvs behind the bar. I didn't think they were bigger than 60 inches. I guess I was wrong.
