Spam or not spam?
I need OT's expert knowledge. I got this recently through my mail. Is this a spam or do I need to be concerned? If the latter, then should I enroll in the ProtectMyID as they recommended?
Thanks, |

Seems legitimate. Can always call and ask, but I think if it were a scam, it would be from a less pronounced company that most might not be familiar with.

Appears legit. It happens. Scams usually attempt to ask some type of personally identifiable information. For example, they'd tell you to log in to a website and put in your name, address, social, etc. They are providing you with a code to put into the website to redeem your free service, so it isn't PII.
