I think we have the answer. There are several possibilities as to how this Chrysler could have made it's way to Belgium.
Two off the top of my head… GM was exporting cars to Europe in that decade. Or the military could have brought over plain unmarked vehicles during the war. My buddy was using plain jane 4Runners to use as a convoy when driving officers around Kabul Afghanistan. Could have been the same deal. They didn't bring those 4Runners back with them either.

Well folks, I think the game is over...
1934 Renault Monaquatre!!!!! Here it is in convertible form. It's got the grille, the bumper, the suicide doors, and the hinged windshield:

I think it could be the Renault Celtaquatre. Hard to get a definitive answer based on images, alone.

That has my vote for correct answer. In addition to the details already mentioned, it also has those small lights/reflectors on the middle of the top of the front fenders; a small thing that is missing from all the other suggested answers.

Right!?! I wonder who copied who in this situation? Those cars are nearly identical. I can understand how the 1943 Chrysler and 1934 Buick look so much alike. I know that GM sold vehicles under different badges in Europe, i wonder if this is the case here. Of maybe they all just ripped each other off. haha
Nice find!

I've always found it ponderous that they were thoughtful enough to use the assembly line for mass production efficiency but it never dawned on them to keep a model the same for more than a single year. Each year of 30s model Ford seems pretty distinct. Hell, even the Chevy Impala of the early 1960s changed every year. Very strange.
