Just came across this review of the 135i by a Canadian Journalist. Prices are in Canadian but it looks very promising!

i think it will be quicker than the old skool m3, think about it 335i are as quick as the e46 m3 anyway

Yep I think it will be about on par with the 335 and E46 M3.
