So how does this work? Is this equivalent to a 9500?

Okay I am a V1 guy and have been for over 15 yrs, and @ $179 for this I was thinking it maybe worth playing around with it.

What little I know about Escort this is not a 9500 it is more like a 8500

http://www.escortradar.com/passport8500ciplus/

However, Escort does not even list this product on their website which is bit concerning. it appears to be a one off product for this website since they claim to be an authorized dealer.

I am not sure what Stealth Monitoring means since all RD are stealth they only receive signals, unless it implying it can not be detected by a radar detector detector which is used on VA and Canada.

I am not sure how you would use it with Escort live, yes you can find out where other reported radar sources, but you can not report since it does not have the GPS of the 8500 plus model, it may use your phone, but it does not say that. you can also use WAZE for that and it is usually better since it has a lot more users.

I agree, I have been part of this RD community for a long time and RR over time kept people in the community from voicing the concerns and opinions on any manufacture products. Since he sold these products the Manufactures specially Escort and RMD would complain to him about what users would say about their products so the community left hit forums and started their own.
