Or in Europe!
That's a good point I've never looked at price difference, it is about 25% cheaper in the USA! That's outrageously cheaper.

All the more bloody reason to give us LED lights, sat nav etc fort the money we have to pay in Europe

Well when a 550GT weighs more than my 750Li, yet is smaller overall, you know theres a problem. I normally don't care about weight, I've built and drag raced 5500lb SUVs (Jeep SRT8 and X5M), but in this case it was just too much.

You don't look at the $100-$350 increase BUT you should look at the overall value of a purchase car with options. This gives BMW the overprice increment that they do EVERY YEAR.

like i said earlier - with all options even a lowest model aka 2 series, it is $40k+

GT is BMW's answer to lack of station wagon models in 5 series, I really don't understand why there isn't a 5 SW? Personally, 3 SW looks really nice but needs more power and width.

Here's to hoping a 1er sedan with xdrive is 31k and only 35k with Msport and navi! These price hikes are to make room for the 1er

Think about it. BMW sold 16,029. 3 x3 and 5 in September. Looking at the increase of approx 300 a car. assuming they do the same in October alone. They will clear a cool 4.8 MILLION DOLLARS with zero added cost as an oct sale car is already produced and probably shipped.

Somebody just got a raise. Or a new addition to the mansion. Or had to pay the divorce attorney lol.

Keep dreaming. If a 328xi with Tech package and M sport is $47K, the 1 series equivalent will probably come in at no less than 40K.

The 228xi with tech package and M sport come in at 40K, but you have no options and less standard equipment compared to 328xi.
