Not sure if you have seen "blipshift" - they do great race and car related shirts. Awesome one for COTA right now:

Are they as ear bleeding loud as they once were...no. But they still make good noise and some additional cool high tech noises as well(from energy recovery systems). Great race, everyone was cheering loud when Ham made the pass. |

Ok...so should Hamilton pull a Senna, circa 1990 at Suzuka? Purposely wreck into Rosberg at Abu Dhabi to clinched the championship and nullify this BS double points.

I actually do think the cars are too quiet. I've been all 3 years and turn 11 was very quiet this year. You had to be close to the fence and listening intently to hear the downshifts particularly over the announcers. Now in the main grandstand area with the tunnel effect the sound was just the right volume (still no earplugs needed). |

I do agree, the final race doubt points is BS. If HAM lose the WDC because of this, it'd really suck and made me sick. I think this season, HAM really proved himself a worthy champion on the track. As well his mentality and racecraft.

Finally over the years, there's a proper race track for F1 in US. And fully deserved, with great racing since 2012.

I had ear plugs. I was in GA between 18 and 19.
I would be ok with these motors revving to 18k and with real blown diffusers. My buddy had never been to a race and as soon as he saw the first car he said he became a fan. The V10s on the Indy main straight, with the sound echoing off the grandstands will NEVER be duplicated. |
