Really liked this movie, but thought some parts were out there... Interesting concepts tho

Saw this a couple of weeks ago and I loved it as well. Zimmer rocked the shit with his score for this one. This is a must in IMAX. Amazing visuals, combined with a loud thumping soundtrack is simply outstanding. There was some good science in it too. I found myself reading and trying to better understand time dilation in the days following seeing this movie. It's great when a movie has an effect like that.
Things got a little more sci-fi'ish than I was expecting with the black hole/ghost thing, but it was a nice connection. After all we don't know what the hell goes on inside a black hole, but apparently time does not exist so it was a pretty good way to go with things. After all this is still a movie, not science class. |
