I'm hoping his incarceration leads to a "longest yard" type scenario where he can lead his band of murderous inmates to victory on the football field.

Well... Justice has been served! Aaron will now have a lifetime to ponder what could have been as a Superstar in the NFL making tens of millions. #thuglifefail

Yep, so long Aaron. Even though the change in lifestyle is quite extreme, this guy was really only 10 years or so away from this anyhow. The vast majority of these idiots are broke just a few years out of the game, and no doubt Aaron would have continued his thuggish ways to make ends meet once he couldn't play a child's game any longer. We're not talking about a guy who threw everything away, in reality he only threw away ten years max.

From an article in The Boston Globe:

Quote:
The jurors said they had also been surprised to learn after the trial of other allegations against Hernandez, including the charges he faces in a 2012 murder in Suffolk County and the lawsuit filed by a former Hernandez friend who alleges that Hernandez shot him in the face several months before Lloyd’s slaying.
I'm amazed that they were able to find jurors so out of touch that they didn't know about the other charges until now. There's no shortage of clueless people in the world, I guess. You could not read the front page of any Boston area newspaper last year without seeing an article about the other murders. Do these people live in caves or something?

I mean, I didn't even know who Aaron Hernandez was until today, lol. But then again, I don't watch or pay attention to sports or known athletes.

I read all 12 jurors didn't know who Bob Kraft was...not that the world should or even everyone should...but they're ALL from eastern MA and not one knows the name?

You're not from Boston either. This was every day headline news in Boston when it first occurred.

Money, fame, and a promised future all down the drain. Condolences to the family of the victim. Doesn't matter how big and bad you think you are. There is always someone tougher than you. In this case, it was the justice system.
