Have your little uneventful off-topic where nobody posts. I tried to help with some humor, but you would rather keep it boring. A good off topic will bring lots of new members in, which you want. But I guess not. And there was NO reason to delete threads such as the one with the animated gif.

Just relax, its not the end of the world, u should be happy. For starters you have a 99' Z3, and its a stick, so you know what your doing. Just do some research online and find something that will have the members intrested and i bet that thread wont get erased.
