Airline power adapter

So I was on U.S. Airways today to fly cross the country and for the first time, my deprived self discovered that the plane is equipped with power outlets on the armrests! Then to my consternation I realized that I have to have an adapter to get the damned thing to work with my laptop! The power outlet is this round entity with prongs in it.

Anybody knows any options? Can I just get an adapter to convert/invert it into a regular AC/DC outlet for me to plug my laptop's power adapter into or will I have to get a separate, new power adapter to link my laptop to the plane?
