I live in Fremont and my wife and I definitely felt that 4.0 quake. Woke us right up and felt like we were sleeping in a jumpy house for a quick sec. lol Even felt the little aftershocks.

Not really concerned though. If the big one does happen, we are prepared as much as we can be to survive for awhile: water, canned goods, batteries, lots or ammo and guns, kits in our cars, etc.

Firstly you can believe what you want about Fox News, but they did not author this story. They are simply retelling it, in their own hyped up way. The basics of that are very true. The geographical situation up in that area is brewing and it is supposed to drop a huge one at some point. It's capable of a much stronger quake than the San Andreas is. People can shrug it off if they want, but that doesn't make it not true. My companies HQ is in Oregon and I've been there a couple of times. Generally people are aware.

I'm not sure how this is even taken seriously. They're actually claiming that a 100ft high tsunami wave is going to destroy everything from interstate 5 west. They seem to be ignoring the 3000ft tall coastal mountain range that will keep it isolated to the coast. At best there will be a tidal surge that travels up the Columbia river, but even then it has to travel 100 miles against the force of the 4th largest river in the US to reach Portland. The idea that Seattle/Tacoma is in danger is equally silly considering a tsunami would have to come around the Olympic peninsula to hit anything within Puget Sound and that's simply not how waves work (hint: they don't turn corners).

That's not saying that an earthquake in the Cascadia Subduction Zone isn't a threat. The movement alone would wreak havoc simply because structures aren't built to withstand earthquakes like places that have them more frequently. But the idea that tsunamis are a significant threat to the major population centers in the Pacific NW is kind of silly. The coastal towns are FUBAR though.

Alright, I predict the big one will hit within a couple of weeks. Another earthquake but this time in Alaska and it was 6.9.

Probably more the opposite. All these little ones are releasing some of the strain.

OR all HELL is about to break loose.

I always wondered that too. You always here about these foreshocks leading to the big one. Isn't it ever the big one turned in to a bunch of little ones and that's it?
