no Audis. I just dont really care for them. A few weeks back I drove an A5 we took on a trade in . I know its a coupe but it didnt drive all that hot. Plus the engine bay looks tight as hell.
Back on topic, a 400hp wagon would be sweet. I dont know how well the transfer case and auto trans would hold up to the added power though.

I would look at 2002-2009 9-5 Aero Wagon's. Much better car and significantly more reliable. The 2.0t 9-3's had far to much GM crap in them and therefore suffer a lot of mechanical issues. The blocks on the early cars were so pooris that the cars literally ate coolant at an alarming rate.

passed on the 535xit. would have been a money pit. traded in the E90 for a 2011 CPO GTI. Kind of a weird spec. 4-door DSG with cloth interior and NO sunroof. I can honestly say i love this car. Weird thing is, I parked it next to my E90 while moving my stuff over and the car is pretty much the same length as the E90.

other than the water pump and intake manifold there isnt really a whole lot. some have har timing chain issues but that doesnt seem to be that common. had the same engine in my MKV and i never had any issues with either.

Waterpump and intake manifold got me at about 38k. Luckily I had my warranty extended via CPO when I bought out my lease. I also had a bunch of coil packs blow. My issue was there was no clear resolution to the water pump or intake at the time as I saw owners have more than one replacement before hitting 90k. That was a huge turn off at the time. So I dumped mine at 56k before the 60k CPO ran out.

accoridng to golfmk6.com they are having a water pump recall on 11-14 models. i dont know if my car is affected or not. the water pump was replaced on my car right before i took delivery. anyways, im taking the car in monday to have a wheel bearing looked at. i noticed a humming noise when i brought it home. I wasnt sure if it was the tires or not but i notice it at around 45 mph when making left hand turns. taking it to NY this week so i dont want my wheel to fly off. oh well. the rest of the car is solid
