American Gladiators is Back~!!

....Not that I watch the show anymore.

Back in the day is was the shiznit. I've only seen the new one once or so. I guess Hulk Hogan is contracted with this show now?

Anyone else watch this 'updated' show?

The old school ones still make me laugh. Just seeing the hairdos and whatnot is pretty funny. Not to mention the 'manly women' that fight off the contestants during the show.

With all the reality shows and extreme sports on TV now, I'm suprised this show didn't come back sooner.

Any thoughts?

I saw part of it and it SUCKed!
I guess as a kid I thought the old one was cool but this new one really sucked!....bad!!!

Watching it... it's not bad... the women competition is better than the men's so far!

i saw some of it and wasn't in to it. I remember back in the day one the the female gladiators posed for playboy I think.

I liked the American Gladiators show of the past. The original Siren... I met her in real life!

And I was soo expecting to hear the music from the last series (which wasn't played). Duh-da-da-da-da-DUUUUUHHHHHH!!!!

ya i saw some of it last night - i wasnt impressed much. The outfits they make the guys wear are Fcuked up though!

It was obvious the contestants were scripted. They were also the most out of shape people who looked in shape. Both the girls looked as though they were going to die of exhaustion.

You're right. The contestants did seem like they were rehearsing lines. How sad. Nowadays most 'reality' shows aren't even real. 1/2 of them are scripted too.

I must say the older one seemed more realistic.
