His body is probably in horrible shape. Since his muscles weren't used, his body did get older, but got no exercise. It'll probably be years before he can walk easily again.

Yeah his muscles probably atrophied away. 19 years huh...that's gonna take a lot of recuperating.

I'm sure they went in there and exercised what they could for him daily.
Lift his legs/arms up and rotate them for a while, bend them, etc.. back and stomach are going to be weak.
Doctors aren't complete idiots.

Curious how he is speaking already, and has no loss of memory.

That's crazy, I thought that there was brain damage after being in a coma for extended periods.
