Didn't want to clog up the M4 GTS selection process thread. However, thought this Road and Track article on the GT40 application process to be interesting

Certainly some parallels. Is this the new normal for limited production cars?

Note - I do realize that the M4GTS is a derivative of a production car while the Ford GT stands on its own.

But if you're simply trying to tie Henry Ford's anti Semitic ties to a car built 70 years after his death, then BMW and the Quandt family also deserve a similar or greater amount of shade.

It was a simple joke relevant to the link regarding the questionaire that's required for approval to buy a GT40. And I honestly don't care about any of what family supported what. I've owned a Ford and own a BMW it's not surprise to me that a German company's founder hated Jews or whether they built vehicles for Nazi Germany. But to answer yes it was a simple joke about a car companies ties to anti semetism
