Mozilla Firefox Internet Browser

I just downloaded the Google Pack. It has a bunch of useful software for the internet in a nice package that automatically updates and installs (if you want it to). It includes AdAware, Adobe Reader, Google Desktop, Google Earth, Google Toolbar, Google Screensaver, Google Video Player, Picasa, Real Player, and the Mozilla Firefox internet browser.

I already had most of those programs on my computer, but I had not tried the Mozilla Firefox browser before. I have been using it for the past few days, and I have decided I like it better than Microsoft Internet Explorer. Web sites seem to load faster, and the tabbed browsing is nice. Plus, you don't have to worry about the security loopholes that many viruses exploit in Internet Explorer. They just don't write viruses that target Firefox. It also gives you better control over cookies and lets you customize many other functions.

I highly recommend anyone that hasn't tried it before to give it a try. You don't have to uninstall Internet Explorer or anything. It doesn't hurt to have both of them installed on your computer. I also recommend the Google Pack. It downloads and installs all of this stuff in the background making it very easy and straightforward.

Here is the link to the Google Pack: http://pack.google.com/

I have been using it for about 3 months now. It's definitely more secure then IE and has better layout/options..I especially like the built in download manager and tabs (even though i rarely use this)

Love tabbing in firefox. ctrl-t , use that and you won't have a 1000 pages opening up.
