328i - 300i serious downgrading?????

*edit*
OH SHOOT i dont mean 300! big typo i meant 330 SORRY!!!!

Well i ok with my car but its got some tranny problems, not exactly the smoothest of the smooth. it also doesnt have many options that i now realize that i wanted.... so ive been pondering trading in for a different car for sometime now... so i wanted to make a poll and see what you guys think

1.2006 330i loaded, more miles, more options, ZF tranny

2.2007 328XI used not that many more miles, more options, AWD

3.Audi A6, used either 2005,06,or 07 with more miles, more options, AWD

4.Wait for the new A4

or

5. Keep it, put some xenons on it and find a way to retrofit power seats....

BTW, is retrofitting power seats possible if i buy the seats and stuff??

Did you buy your 07 as a used loaner car? Thats the options my cheapass dealer always gets with their loaner cars. Heated seats and auto. I wish they put premium or sport or ANYTHING.

unfortunately no, it was one of the 1st 07s in PA so the choices were very limited, unfortunately, my dealers service loaners have more options than my car.

Personally, just wait for the new A4... The 330 didn't get a ZF tranny, that was introduced with the 335s I believe.

really? well my tranny really is pretty bad, its all jerky and unsmooth, got a software update as prescribed by BMWNA , didnt do much, plus my dealer said that they arent allowed to touch the transmission until BMWNA tells them what to do, kinda funny.

330i does have a ZF tranny, just not the same as the one found in 335is, but it is produced by ZF

Why would 328i => 330i be considered a downgrade? Sure you might be getting a YEAR older car....but it's still more powerful...

hah. well i think of a car mainly by its engine. which is why if i were to step up to a 330i that would be an upgrade to me.

but then again...since i have my lowly 325i...even going up to 328i would be an upgrade
