First time playing w/ HDR

This is my first attempt at doing this HDR thing all done in CS3

I'm not sure If I should keep doing HDR because I'm not much of a fan of photo manipulation.

What are your thoughts on photo manipulation? Is it still photography at its raw state? Anyone can learn to photoshop, but it takes a real photographer to create AMAZING pictures out of the camera. I mean I still dodge and burn my digital images as I would in a classic Dark Room, but I limit myself in what I am allowed to do. I have never removed things and added things into my images. what are your thoughts on the matter?

It doesn't look overdone, which is a good thing. However, i don't think this setting was the best contender for HDR.

Photo manipulation is a part of the photography industry. If you can't manipulate your photos, I don't see how one could make it. Say you shoot glamour. They spend hours editing their photos, adding , removing, blurring, masking, blah blah blah. HDR is just another way to capture a shot that many cameras can't do in one exposure.
