Spotify? Apple Music? Pandora? Tidal?
Looking to finally get on the streaming bandwagon, I know I know... Anyways, this will probably open up a debate given the pros and cons of each, just looking for some advice before I pull the trigger. Given that most have a trial period, I may just give one or two a shot. Discuss.

I prefer Spotify. Has the most of my music and works the best for me and is the easiest to find new music with.
Tried Apple Music and wanted to like it but the UI was crap. Might be better with iOS 10. Tidal is dead. Pandora is US only so haven't tried it out. |

I only use the free versions of Spotify. Have u tried Amazon Prime music (if you have prime). You can set up Playlist like Spotify and is still has radio stations based on artist/music type.

I pay for Spotify and use free Pandora. I've discovered a TON of new music I would never have heard using Pandora but as far as everyday listening, I use Spotify. I think of Pandora as my Spotify feeder-fund.

stewy604 Are you a Rogers customer for your wireless by any chance? If so, Spotify Premium is free if you have a Share Everything + plan.
You mentioned Pandora, but that's not available in Canada. I haven't tried Tidal or Apple Music, but of the services I have tried (Spotify, Google Play, Groove, and Rdio (before its demise) I do like Spotify the best. Selection is great, and the ability to download 320kpbs files for offline listening is something that Google and Groove don't offer. |

This is a very underrated feature that people often overlook. I go into and out of Grand Central every morning on the train and cell service is absolute shit until we leave the Bronx so having HQ tracks downloaded is key for my commute/sanity. Add to that my sweet new B&O H6 cans and I'm one content commuter.

I use Spotify. I have no complaints. Just started using premium. Loving it so far.
Don't know if Starbucks is still doing this, but if you sign up for a Starbucks card through the App, they were giving 3-months of Spotify premium for free (first time users only). |

As it was said Apple Music is supposed to get better with IOS 10. From what I saw it will also use your own music library to make listening suggestions and streaming playlists.
I have trying using streaming and have not been too happy since I like listening and not big on knowing who sings what and or the type of music it may or may not be. Plus I am not big in to the current day fad music this make it hard to find good stuff to listen to which did not replay the same things over and over again. With that said I tend to listen to classical rock and I like lots of variety. My local radio station does a far better job of putting a mix together than any of the streaming service do. I can go weeks on my daily commute before hearing the same song over again. You would think with all the classical rock titles out there a streaming services would not repeat a song for years. I know with my 8000 title iTunes library is I never hear the same song when I shuttle it all. My kids listen to Spotify and my son has the paid service, they tend to like it since it does stream more unique stuff and are not bother with the constant repeat of songs. |

I use Apple Music and I used to use Pandora, I had no complaints about either. I dropped Pandora when Sonos added Apple Music to their list. I just seem to like the Apple Radio stations it creates for me better... and 30 million songs is a lot!

I use Spotify, I have for about 1-2 years. I love it. For the most part everything I want they have. From classic rock, 80's, 90's, 00's, Hip-Hop, everything. Totally worth the $9.99 a month. Definitely go with it.

Spotify ftw. Love how easy it is to use and how many song are available (on and offline). They have family plan for $15 a month (you + 5 other users). If you can get your friends or family in on it and they chip in, it comes out to $2.50 a month for a full year.

I think Spotify is the best and really well priced, especially for a family plan...
Tidal is good too, appears to have better streaming quality and some selections Spotify does not... however, overall, I would still take Spotify. |

Spotify for me. Tried Apple Music and didn't like it. I like I can link music I search from Shazam to Spotify. I also use SoundCloud alot for remixes, trap/edm and independents.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I signed up for Spotify Premium (3 month trial for $1 a month). I really like the interface so far.
