Wa-wa-wi-wah! This car looks like all the parts actually work together for once! I actually prefer the SL63's blacked out mid part of the front bumper. I do really like that side crease though, it was sorely needed and is one of the complaints I had about this facelifted SL. I actually don't think the second pic is very flattering. I don't think this car looks..."right"...with the top down.

Not too shabby Benz. Not too shabby.

something looks retarded about the front.... like small body, with HUGE head or something... idk.... if this were on a CL it woulda looked fine i think... idk

Also, that interior is really nice. Similar to the current SL65's, but nice nonetheless. I could do with less black though. Maybe some two tones or something.

Hey, HKS, could you do a photoshop of those headlights?

That part that extends at the top...if you stretch that inwards and flatten that outermost edge...it'll look very similar to the C class's headlights. Could you try that?

It's funny you mention it. I actually made that same adjustment the other day and thought it looked like the C-Class lights. I think Merc gave it a "vertical" look and it needs a more "horizontal" look as you sort of indicated:

That looks so much better than the stock version. Thx! I wonder what MB was thinking when they decided to go vertical there.

I was just about to say that myself! Amazingly this car is growing on me.

I actually prefer the SL63 over the 65 because of the blacked out front bumper. Although the 65 has better wheels.
