My first thought was 'what a weird thing to have those little brick roadside posts'. I guess in that neighborhood you want something to keep Junior out of the living room.

And I thought a J-turn was going forwards and doing a fast 180 degree turnaround - what they taught for evasive driving, with parking brake lockup of rears and fishtail around (anybody else ever 'tray' their FWD?).

Running over the curb gave him that extra lift. Douchy thing to do, as I'm sure there is nothing that pressing to be attempting a J turn in a middle of a residential area.

Sad thing, I bet insurance is covering the loss. Pretty much passing the costs of his individual stupidity on to all of us.

Hmmm since I don't have any...wait...no that was a false alarm...I'm good.

Even being asked to look after kids should not justify doing something stupid in a residential neighbourhood where most likely there are kids out playing.
