I think I would print out the clearest picture of their face and car. Buy some small poster board, paste picture to poster board with a note underneath. You could go funny....(if there is a goofy picture of them) "caption this photo" and an email address or more serious, "I have a special set of skills...", or "in case you didn't know, you're being recorded"

Then set that on your dash everytime you park in the complex.

I've actually had more people mess with my vehicles when I park far away from shit then when I park somewhat close. As crazy as that seems. People see you parked on the outside and think "he must be special" and mess with your car.

If ya can not find them before you leave, crop a picture from the video that shows the "perps" and their car then post it up in multiple places through out the apt bldg. The put something on it that says "Do you know who these people are? They were seen involved in some criminal mischief in the parking garage. Please contact the local bldg super."

Some of the other residents will probably recognize them as well as the perps recognizing themselves. And unless the perps find all of the post ups multiple residents will realize they have a couple douches living in their building and every time they see perps hopefully they will get the sink eye.

You will be long gone, but they will not ...

I meant that most apartments atleast where I live don't include garages and I wouldn't own a nice car if it had to sit outside all the time. Didn't mean disrespect to people that do but most people around me that live in apartments don't drive 40k cars either so they couldn't care less about other peoples things.

where i live there's apartments galore in pretty nice areas and when you drive through the parking lot all you see are BMW's and Mercedez unless you're talking dumpy apartments than yes! i lived in a dumpy apartment complex for a bit and was the only one with a BMW and i parked way across where it was by itself but these ghetto kids still managed to think it's cool to mess with it

Around here if there's a BMW taking up two spaces like that the owner could expect a beat up truck parked about 1.5" from its side.

Now if it were a brand new 3/4 ton, $60K pick-up, those kids might just have set the cones in a manner preventing others from parking within two spaces.
