To add what i said up top. My federal pay isnt the same as my military. Meaning during the week an e1 and an e7 make the same pay. I know e3(thats what we all start out as) making 90k a year. Look up the wg and gs pay scales for your area. And also see if theres any kickers. Pm me if you want help. Im pretty sure florida has some high pay. Could be making 35 40 an hour!

Look into putting your degree to work at a federal job / position.
Audit, contract purchaser, project manager, etc...many to look at. Some one up the line said look into being a Reservist or national guard. I worked for the fed (facility specialist), and served in National Guard, it definitely broke up routine. Employer allowed plenty of gone time. i did active duty + reserves + nat. guard = 33yrs. Yep...but i would not go full time ! not at your age, background, or kids. Change jobs and join Guard for fun and profit, or just join Guard, sound like you need an outlet / vent.
