Which starter motor lubricant for a Civic?

I'm fixing my Civc starter motor - replacing brushes and armature. What lubricant will you recommend for the gears inside? I contacted the dealer and they have nothing.

Starter motor? Those are usually pretty reliable except on this forum.

The type of lubricant you use depends whether the motor has VTEC or not.

It is iVTEC, but starter is starter and lubrication is likely some silicone based lube.

EP axle grease on the shaft. Nothing on the pinions.
