Toyota developing solid state battery for commercial release next decade
Toyota is saying they have developed a solid state battery, could be in production by 2020.

Using the words "solid state" in this context is stupid, and misleading.
Over the last 50-60 years, the term has been applied to electronics that use semi-conductors (ie, chips). IEEE should be having fits. |
