lol man I just posted this link in your oldish e class thread. Man you have to be monitoring that site as often as I do to get this info out this fast lol.
So far I'm not liking it. But hey, it could pull an SL and will eventually grow on me especially with the AMG variant.

i wouldn't call it "nearly uncovered" because it looks pretty camouflaged to me but thanks for the post anyway.
gotta agree, merc has been taking a lot of notes on BMW lately.

I agree. Headlights look weird and small, but after what Merc done with the SL I have reasonable faith in them. The SL is growing on me fast. The rear...well what can I say? we cant see the rear lights completely but so far I'm quite dissapointed. I had really high expectations for the next E class. I loved the current E when it came out and the facelift seems quite good too! I do love the fact that they kept the E-class roofline but tweaked it a little. It's sharper and matches the latest design language. I like the fact that the A6, 5series and E-class have competlely different rooflines.

The crease also features on the Ocean Drive Concept (S-class convertible). It looks better on that. I'll reserve judgment till official pics, maybe Merc can pull it off. Time will tell Edit: Infact the BMW Concept CS has a similar crease over the rear arches too.

Talk about the similarities...
I apologize in advance for whoever took these pictures, I took the first image I could find in the gallery that fit the profile, I hope you don't mind – I have to admit, our mirrors look a whole lot better...

Don't be too excited, comes face lift the E90's will get ugly mirrors as well due to the new pedestrian safety regulation in the European Community

Too bad I don't follow MB because I see prototypes like this daily while driving past the MB factory going to work.
