McLaren isn't building an SUV

All I can say is thank god... hope that doesn't offend anyone.

I am still not on board with Porsche building SUV's... even the sedan/saloon (for the brits) sticks in my craw.

Yet another reason to add to the queue that if I win the lottery, my car of choice will be a McLaren.

I get Lambo doing it because there's a historical precedent: the LM002.

I get Porsche doing it because survival.

I get Jaguar doing it because it hasn't been a sports car-focused company since the BMC merger in the mid-1960s -- and Land Rover.

I even sort of get Alfa Romeo doing it because of its history of post-war trucks and buses.

I do not get anyone else considering it. Ferrari, for one, has absolutely no reason to.

Agree with most we do not need another luxury SUV. It just kills me how they start with an SUV body then try to make them into a performance car. You end up with a vehicle that will never handle as good as a care and goes off-road like a newborn deer.
