Buying 1 million Euro car in Turkey (911 GT2RS)
This car is around 300.000 Euro in Europe. But x3 in Turkey because of taxes. Please use subtitles for English. |

I had a buddy in college (here in the US) that was from Turkey. He was here for school and actually lives back in Turkey now. We are both big car guys, and when he was here in school, he went through multiple awesome cars (progressed as he went, I can't remember them all but he kept each one for about a year or less - E550 Coupe, 335d M-Sport Sedan, Range Rover Sport, 991 911). He always said that in Turkey, cars are so dang expensive, that he had to enjoy the finer ones while he could in America haha.

So why not buy a property in a neighboring country, register the car there, and avoid the ridiculous taxes? Sorry, but paying €700K in taxes on a €300K vehicle is a bit silly.

Because the car would be confiscated and forfeited for fraud. If you think American laws are overbearing you do not know that the legal systems in the rest of the world don't wink at non compliance like America does.

If you are foreign person so you can buy the car without taxes. But first you pay the whole money with taxes to the bank and they get back after sale the car. You can buy bugatti veyron in Usa with this money i think. |
